From January 2022 we have begun to roll out our new membership and facilities system, based on the PerfectGym platform. The new system means we can administer our complex membership structure much more efficiently, and should significantly improve the experience of our members and facility guests. The new system allows members to:
- Join HCSC and some sports clubs online.
- Add new sports memberships to their existing membership.
- Maintain their personal information with HCSC.
- Book facilities a discounted rates.
About the rollout
Members are being rolled over to the new system in stages, starting in early January 2022. We are hoping to complete this exercise no later than February 2022.
In addition, new members will be automatically added to the system as they join.
Members will know they have been added to the new system as they will receive an email, confirming their membership on the new system is live.
What about Membership Cards?
If you have been issued with a permanent (plastic) Membership Card, you should not need a new one. We will migrate the details of your existing card to the new system. Note, your membership number on our new system will be different, but we'll still be able to find you using the number printed on your existing card.
If you have been issued with a temporary (paper) Membership Card, or you did not receive any card, we will arrange to print a plastic one as soon as possible. This should be within 14 days of your addition to our new system, and you'll receive an email to confirm this has been done. Please do not contact us
If you have lost or damaged your permanent Membership Card you can request a new one at www.helsbysports.co.uk/guides/reportcard. Note, there is a £5 charge to replace lost, damaged or stolen cards.
