Snooker Room Rules

The following terms apply to all bookings of the snooker room at Helsby Community Sports Club.

Booking Availability
Any member of the public can book a table in the snooker room.

Guests and HCSC members can book a table up to 1 day in advance, for up to one hour.

Helsby Snooker Club members can book a table up to 14 days in advance, for up to four hours.
Opening Hours
The snooker room is open from 9am until club close each day.
Cancellations
Bookings can be cancelled up to 1 hour in advance for a full refund.

No refunds are available for cancellations in any other circumstance.
Making a Booking
Bookings can be made online or at the Bar only. Bookings cannot be made by email, telephone or other methods.
Equipment
Balls to be used for play can be collected from the Bar. Cues and other equipment are provided for guest use in the snooker room.

Users must ensure they look after the equipment and use it carefully. Please show courtesy to the club and fellow users by not damaging the equipment.
Conduct Rules
Please only strike the white ball. Striking other balls makes them dirty and can damage them.

If a table has been booked and there is someone waiting to play on the table you are on, please finish your game as soon as possible and within five minutes of the booking time.

Please respect all players and guests by keeping noise to a reasonable level.

You may eat and drink in the snooker room but please keep food and drink away from tables.

Helsby Community Sports Club is a non-smoking building. Smoking in the snooker room is prohibited and against the law.
Table Covers
If you finish playing and nobody is waiting after you, please place the table cover onto the table.
